My Story
In March 2011, I stumbled upon Scentsy! In the beginning, I purchased three bars of wax (White Sands, Home Sweet Home, & Welcome Home), a warmer (Zebra), a travel tin & a scent circle (both in French Kiss), and I FELL IN LOVE with the products! I ordered more and more over time (it becomes quite addictive!!) and before I had reached being a customer for a year, I had joined and became a consultant!
I love the products so much (and wanted to earn money on my purchases).. and I wanted to be able to work from home with my children! At the time of joining, I was pregnant (full term!), and had just been laid off from my job every other week, and then put on bedrest with my pregnancy! I needed something to help make ends meet while I was out of work, but something that could be done while I followed my doctor's orders on bedrest as well!
Since joining in February of 2012, I have been able to stay at home with my children and work from home, not missing any important parts of my daughter's milestones in her first five years, or missing any sports games or school events for my son. I DO NOT work on holidays anymore; if I want to take some time off and squeeze in time with my dumplins, I CAN!
It's not just about the money, or the product, both are very nice perks though... it's about being a part of a company that cares so much about being authentic.. our product is not only authentic, our company and the Thompson's are.. (I really learned that from 2013 Scentsy Family Reunion)... they do care about us, and want us to succeed and have DoubleYAYs!
